Here at CHUMS we offer a play-based curriculum that emphasizes both academic readiness and social-emotional growth. We use a hands-on, literacy-rich curriculum designed to build foundational skills like oral language, phonological awareness, and a love of books.

Our curriculum is also guided by Conscious Discipline, which equips children with social-emotional tools to help them thrive both in school and in life. Through consistent routines and positive guidance, CHUMS fosters emotional intelligence and self-regulation in a supportive environment.
Our Toddlers learn through play and sensory exploration. Our fun and interactive program helps each child develop skills for success.
Our preschool students build curiosity and critical thinking through discovery. Our programs develop their minds and bodies - preparing them for future academic success.
We take learning beyond the classroom to spark curiosity and creativity! Children explore music, build coordination in motor skills, open new worlds in the library, learn songs and stories in Chapel, get their hands dirty in the garden, and dive into the wonders of STEAM. These joyful experiences enrich their development and help them grow in playful, meaningful ways.
